Dublin’s No. 1 award-winning music and dance show ‘The Irish House Party’ offers the warmest of welcomes to the finest house party in town.

Angus audiences will be treated to their fun show when they appear for one night only at the Webster Memorial Theatre, Arbroath on Monday, March 3 at 7.30 p.m.

Starring All Ireland Champion musicians, fantastic presenters with great banter and not forgetting some excellent Irish dancing, this amazing multi-talented gathering delivers the best traditional night of musical entertainment the Emerald Isle has to offer!

The musicians will astound with their ability, craft and knowledge and take you on a journey of rhythm, song and dance in an intimate, friendly and homely atmosphere.

The show has become one of Dublin’s must-see events, and with fans such as Dara O’Briain, Louis Walsh, The Dubliners and even international chart toppers The Wanted (with whom they recently played live on The Late Late Show), you will find yourself in wonderful company.

Inspiring a fun spirit wherever it plays, The Irish House Party looks forward to sharing a great night of Celtic celebration in true Irish style.

The Webster will host the very best of local drama with the Angus District heat of the annual national one-act play competition organised by the Scottish Community Drama Association. This runs on Friday, February 28 and Saturday, March 1 at 7 p.m.

Local drama clubs perform short plays with public comments and judging by Colin Peter from Edinburgh. The Angus winners go through to the next round of the competition.

Prior to this The Limelight Company performs the school edition of ‘Les Misérables’ from Wednesday, February 19 to Saturday, February 22 at 7 p.m. nightly (Saturday matinee at 2 p.m.).

Set against the backdrop of 19th-century France, ‘Les Misérables’ tells an enthralling story of broken dreams and unrequited love, passion, sacrifice and redemption – a timeless testament to the survival of the human spirit.

Featuring the songs ‘I Dreamed A Dream’, ‘Bring Him Home’, ‘One Day More’ and ‘On My Own’ – ‘Les Misérables’ is the show of shows.
