A training session will be held in Montrose to help open up funding opportunities for local organisations.
Angus Council’s funding website is being updated to make it even easier for communities to access cash for a variety of purposes and the workshop has been organised by the council’s external funding team to help residents get the most out of the site.
The session will outline how to turn funding suggestions into a report, save searches, view results by different priorities and highlight its other features. The session will be suitable for those who have not yet used www.angus4community.com, as well as those who are used to the previous version but would like to maximise the benefits offered by the site.
It forms a one-stop shop for advice as well as links to external funding organisations.
Familiarity with using a computer mouse would be preferred for those attending, but previous internet experience is not essential.
The session, part of a series taking place across the county, will be held in Montrose Library on Tuesday, September 4 from 2.30pm to 3.30pm.
Places must be booked in advance by contacting Eddie Findlay on 01307 473264 or by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
