Wet weather set to return

Have your say

Tayside Police are once again asking residents to be vigilant, with the Met Office again issuing a Yellow warning for impending rain over the region, which could potentially result in some disruption.

The heaviest rainfall is set to make an unwelcome return from about 4am through to around 9am tomorrow (Friday, December 28).

Rainfall during Friday, combined with snow melt, could well cause localised flooding, with the western reaches of Tayside at greatest risk. There is likely to be standing water, notably on the roads network and there is a threat of flooding from small watercourses and rapidly responding rivers, although this threat will recede during Saturday.
