LIBRARY staff at Montrose Academy celebrated World Book Day on Thursday (March 3) by hosting a ‘Murder in the Library’ event.

Every member of the school staff joined in the fun by wearing a badge depicting the name of a famous detective and carrying a picture clue as to the identity of the ‘murderer’.

Pupils were asked to collect as many detectives’ names as they could throughout the day and work out ‘who dunnit!’

Community liaison officer PC Mitchell started off proceedings by issuing pupils with the first clue.
