Win free entry to Basin Centre

There is still time for primary school children in the Montrose and district area to win a free family ticket to Montrose Basin Visitor Centre by entering our competition.

We want youngsters to tell us how many bird names they can pick out in a poem about Alan Crow - former teacher and chairman of Montrose Golf Links - by local writer Patrick Barry McBeath called ‘Ode to Alan Crow’, which was published in the Review dated May 15 and on our website.

There are a few tricky bird names that you might not think are feathered friends and be aware some may appear more than once, you might have to get your mum and dad to help you.

Submit your entries by post to 63 Murray Street, Montrose, DD10 8JZ by 12 noon on Thursday, June 12.
