ENTRIES are still pouring in for our Summer Photo Competition and there has been no shortage of top quality pictures from our readers.
There's still time to get your snaps considered for our star prize though, a £150 voucher to spend at the Forfar Photo Centre.

So far, we've had snaps of famous local landmarks, strange creatures and children enjoying the summer weather – but do you think you can do better?

For a chance to win the top prize, all you have to do is send us a photograph of what you think best defines Angus in the summertime. Photographs should be large enough to be used in a professional publication, but the subject is entirely up to you.

Remember also that the top 12 photographs will appear in our Summer Calendar 2009, which goes on sale later this year.

You can see a gallery of the latest entries here.

Send your pics to angusphotocompetition@jpress.co.uk, along with your name, address, and telephone number.

Entries must be received by August 21.

Terms and conditions: By submitting photographs to the competition you are giving consent that they may be used, free of charge, by Johnston Press in any of its publications; no cash alternative to prizes offered; you may only submit photographs taken by yourself; staff of Johnston Press are not permitted to enter the competition; the decision of the judging panel is final.
