THE weather may have swung from scorching heat to rain and fog over the last few weeks, but that hasn't stopped our readers taking a host of snaps for our Summer Photo Competition.
Pictures depicting everything from local wildlife to picturesque scenes and family members playing on the beach have already flooded our inbox, with local photographers keen to get their hands on a £150 voucher to spend in the Forfar Photo Centre.

You can find a gallery of the latest entries here.

But there's still time to get your entry in if you think your picture could win the star prize, and the top 12 entries will also win a copy of our Angus Calendar – in which the photographs will feature – when its released later this year.

To enter our competition, send your photographs, together with contact details and a description of your picture, to angusphotocompetition@jpress.co.uk.

Entries must be received by August 21.

Terms and conditions: By submitting photographs to the competition you are giving consent that they may be used, free of charge, by Johnston Press in any of its publications; no cash alternative to prizes offered; you may only submit photographs taken by yourself; staff of Johnston Press are not permitted to enter the competition; the decision of the judging panel is final.
