THE former secretary of Montrose Golf Links Ltd has had her first hole in one after 25 years of playing golf.
Margaret Stewart, who retired in December after 22 and a half years as secretary of MGLL, formerly the Links Trust, was playing in the second round of the Royal Montrose GC Ladies Championship, partnered by Hazel Howatson when she aced her tee-shot at the 192 yard 16th hole on the Medal Course.
Margaret used her driver for her hole in one and both she and Hazel saw the ball all the way into the cup.
Margaret, who plays off 13, is enjoying her retirement and playing more golf than ever now that she has the time.
