A SPECIAL charity football match is being staged at Links Park on Sunday, February 28, to raise funds for a skin cancer charity.
The game, between a Dundee United All Stars side and Fife Amateur team Lomond United, kicks-off at 7pm. Admission is free and there will be a collection for the charity.
Dundee United have been heavily involved in supporting the fight against skin cancer after two of their supporters died of the disease and they set up a charity in their memory.
Community coach Dave Bowman has been involved in organising the game and he has recruited a number of his team mates from the United side of the 90s to play, such as Paddy Connolly, Darren Jackson, Gary Bollan, Grant Johnson and Ray McKinnon.
Lomond United AFC are from Falkland in Fife and are well known for their support for charitable causes.
