Golf Inn 4 Vaults 0

GOLF Inn clinched the Welfare League title with a win on Sunday over a Vaults side who competed strongly throughout.

In the first half, Page and Davidson had shots saved by the Vaults keeper.

Golf Inn took the lead in 20 minutes when Paul Duncan fired a half-volley into the top corner from 20 yards.

Two minutes later, a Graham Burnett effort was cleared off the Golf Inn line by Brown.

The title chasers stretched their lead in 35 minutes when Duncan scored on the back post from a Jardine cross.

It was 3-0 early in the second half when Lee Hood drove the ball across goal and it went in off a defender.

As time ran out, Winton headed against the Vaults crossbar.

Golf Inn wrapped things up with the last kick of the ball when Hood shot into the bottom corner from 15 yards.
