Sporty youngsters primary schools across Angus took part in a football tournament to encourage them to play fairly and celebrate Fairtrade Fortnight.
The Fair Play Football Tournament took place at Links Park, Montrose, last Friday.
The competition saw girls’ teams from Rosemount, Southmuir, Southesk, Lochside and Borrowfield schools compete in one league, while the boys teams from Rosemount, Borrowfield, Southesk and Lochside competed in another league.
Teams and individuals were be judged on their attitude towards fair play and not on results and teams played for the prize of a Fairtrade football.
Scotmid sponsored the event and every child received some Fairtrade juice and a banana.
