Montrose Youth Under-14s football team completed their league campaign with a thumping victory to finish the season in style.
A hectic run of fixtures saw them win the Watson McInally League in some style.
Remarkably they went from February 24 to April 21 without a game, as weather and cancellations saw them sit out while other teams managed to get games fitted in.
This meant a fixture pile-up and with a run of five league games in 14 days.
During this period they beat Brechin away 8-0, Lochside home 9-0, St James home 2-0, Forfar away 1-0 and ACSC of Arbroath away by 10-1, meaning they had remained unbeaten throughout the league campaign, with a draw being their only blemish, winning the rest of their matches.
Sandwiched in the 14 days was a cup final in Dundee, which they narrowly losing 1-0, to a debatable penalty in the last minute.
However it was the title they were after, and they clinched it against St James, meaning they had deservedly won the title.
