Home Dugout opens its doors to Gable Endies fans

The doors were officially opened on Saturday to The Home Dugout, Montrose FC’s new outlet store at 72 Murray Street.

Despite the terrible weather, Club Mascot Monty Mole was on hand to lighten the mood and was given the honour of cutting the ribbon on a new venture for the Club.

It also gave fans the first chance to get their hands on the new home and away strips for the coming season, with the striking new red away strip being particularly popular.

Proprietor of The Home Dugout and Club Director David Laing explained: “The Club has been in need of a presence in the centre of the town for a long time now. I am delighted with the way the store looks and going forward we will be guided by what our customers want.”

The Home Dugout, which will be open Thursday to Saturday from 10am to 4pm, will also stock retro jerseys.
