Jardine bags a hat-trick as Golf Inn pop six past Fourdon

IN A game switched to Broomfield the visitors came away with all three points.

The hosts started well and Maxwell went close with a far post header and then a free kick was just over.

Golf Inn took the lead when Young and Andy JARDINE combined for the latter to force home from a tight angle.

It was two when a flowing move was finished by JARDINE again

And JARDINE got his hat-trick when he brought down a Lownie pass, turned his marker and drilled the ball into the bottom corner.

A minute later it was four when Rodger was brought down in the box and Chris MILLAR stepped up to convert the penalty.

The second half started in the same way and it was soon five when a Fordoun defender got a touch to a corner to force the ball into his own net, and it was six when Stephen ROBERTSON finished after another flowing move.

Jardine was denied his fourth when the Fordoun ‘keeper pulled off a world-class save.
