Tickets for the Montrose Football Club’s 135th Anniversary Hall of Fame Dinner are now on sale.
The event takes place on Saturday, March 29, at Montrose Town Hall and tickets are £40 and include a three course meal supplied by The George Hotel.
The evening will see five former players inducted into the Montrose Football Club Hall of Fame and former chairman Willie Johnston will receive a lifetime achievement award.
Speakers on the night will be former Montrose FC player and manager John Sheran, the flying Dutchman Ivo Den Bieman, who will be travelling over from his home in Holland to attend, and comedian Pat Rolink, who, in keeping with the evening’s events is a director of Scottish Cup quarter-finalists Albion Rovers.
With the evening being a night of nostalgia, Montrose FC would love as many former players to attend and would like to hear from any who would like to be there on the evening.
The club have managed to track down all players who have been nominated or the Hall of Fame apart from Jimmy McIntosh and Mark Craib and would be delighted to hear from them.
Tickets are available from Graham Christieson on 01674 300004 or Glynis Crawford on 01674 673200 or by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Tickets will also be on sale at Saturday’s home match against Albion Rovers from the club shop and in the Willie Johnston Lounge.
