Montrose Roselea comfortably beat Peterhead outfit Longside 3-0 in the quarter finals of the Grill Cup.
Roselea dominated the early proceedings and should have taken the lead after five minutes.
Anderson made a bursting run from midfield and found himself in on goal but was caught in two minds about shooting and squaring the ball and his eventual pass was short.
Mitchell steadied himself on the edge of the box but shot over in a decent position.
Roselea were playing some good quick passing football and Cruickshank was unlucky not to take the lead after 23 minutes.
The tricky winger ghosted in central and shot low but the away keeper saved well.
Up until this moment it looked like Roselea would have it easy, but Longside showed why they had dispatched two Super League teams previously to reach this stage after 35 minutes when their striker nipped in ahead of Reoch, but Mcleod did well to come out and save with his feet.
Roselea took a deserved lead after 38 minutes.
Campbell crossed to S Watson who finished with ease.
It was a similar story in the second half as Roselea dominated possession but this time enjoyed a spell where they were more convertant with their chances.
They did however miss a golden opportunity on 60 minutes.
Cruickshank played a great ball along the six yard box but it just evaded the front pairing of Aitken and S.Watson.
McLeod made a good save on the hour mark as he pushed aside a strikers effort.
Roselea made their first change after 70 minutes when Beedie replaced S.Watson.
Roselea doubled their lead when Cruickshank played a terrific through ball to Aitken who slotted the ball under the keeper. 2-0
Richardson made sure of progression a minute later when he beat two players and unleashed an unstoppable effort into the top left hand corner.
Beedie tried something later a moment later but his effort whistled past the top right corner.
Roselea made two late changes as Dalgarno and Bailey replaced Richardson and Mitchell.
