Road restrictions are in place for game

Angus Council and Tayside Police have agreed the following traffic restrictions for the IRN BRU Division Three match between Montrose and Rangers on Saturday, December 15.

Prohibition of Driving of vehicles will be effective between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. in Eastern Road (Union Place) between its junctions with Wellington Street and Union Street and Wellington Street for its entire length.

Alternate route for Eastern Road is via Reform Street/Provost Scotts Road/Union Road. The reverse route also applies. There is no alternate route for Wellingston Street.

The prohibition of driving restrictions will not apply to any vehicle permitted to drive in the affected roads upon the direction ofor with the permission of a police constable in uniform.

Prohibition of Waiting of vehicles will be effective between 7 p.m. on Friday, December 14 and 3 p.m. on Saturday, December 15 in North Street (south side) for its entire length; Dorward Road (south side) between its junctions with Mill Street and Eastern Road (Wellington Gardens); Dorward Road (north side) between its junctions with Warrack Terrace and Whinfield Road; Links Avenue (west side) between its junctions with Dorward Road and Wellington Park; Union Row (west side) between its junctions with Wellington Park and Union Street; Wellington Park (south side) for its entire length; Provost Scott’s Road (east side) for its entire length; Provost Scott’s Road (west side) from a point 80 metres or thereby south of its junction with Reform Street southwards for a distance of 50 metres or thereby; Panmure Place (east side) between its junctions with Museum Street and Academy Square; Eastern Road (Wellington Gardens, Wellington Place, Union Place and St Peters Place (west side) for its entire length; Eastern Road (Union Place) (east side) between its junctions with Wellington Street and Bents Road; Reform Street (both sides) between its junctions with Provost Scott’s Road and Eastern Road; Union Road (both sides) for its entire length; Melville Road (both sides) for its entire length; St Peter’s Road (both sides) for its entire length;

Academy Square (both sides) for its entire length;Russell Street (north side) for a distance of 25 metres or thereby eastwards from its junction with Eastern Road and Marine Avenue (both sides) for a distance of 150 metres or thereby eastwards from its junction with Eastern Road and Union Street (north side) for a distance of 40 metres or thereby westwards from its junction with Union Row.

Access for pedestrians and emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.

The prohibition of waiting restrictions will not apply to official football supporters buses, or to any vehicle which is permitted to wait in the affected roads upon the direction or with the permission of a police constable in uniform.
