The newly appointed management team of Montrose Football Club are looking forward to the Montrose Music Festival this weekend.
The Links Park Stadium will be a venue for the annual event first time, and an outdoor one at that.
George Shields, manager, and Lee Wilkie, assistant manager, say they hope festival goers drop by on Saturday (May 25) afternoon to enjoy the music and support the club.
Peyton Place and The Red Pine Timber Company will perform on a purpose built stage in front of the main stand, making it the only outdoor venue except for the headline act Status Quo.
George Shields said: “It’s great to see the club getting involved in what is a fantastic event for the town that just gets bigger every year.
“I for one will be rockin’ all over the world on Friday night at the Status Quo gig to kick-start my Status Mo Festival.”
Peyton Place will be taking to the stage at Links Park from 2.30 to 4.30 p.m. and The Red Pine Timber Company will be playing from 5.30 to 7.30 p.m.
