Merpro showed their never-say-die spirit to record two stalemates in a week as they followed a 1-1 draw with Lowson United with a 2-2 draw with Invergowrie.
Invergowrie almost opened the scoring in Saturday’s with a dangerous cross to the back post in the sixth minute.
Invergowrie then took advantage of a loose clearance to clinically break forward and score with a well executed lofted clip over the advancing Glennie in 15 minutes.
Graham managed to find some space to drift in behind the defence to round the goalie but with the goal gaping fired his effort high and wide in 25 minutes.
Despite building up further attacking momentum the home side were unable to find the final composure to find the net.
Into the second half and Merpro continued on top.
The Gowrie pressure paid off when a pinpoint corner kick was headed into the net by Hodgdon in the 85th minute.
Merpro refused to buckle and Grant found himself some space to hit a low effort saved at the near post in 87 minutes, almost winning the game.
