Great line-up for Roselea dinner

Montrose Roselea has announced details of the sixth Annual Ladies’ Dinner in the Links Hotel on October 25.

Guests will be treated to a three-course meal followed by after-dinner speakers Keara Murphy and Patrice.

Keara Murphy is a regular comedian and MC on the UK stand-up comedy circuit and is also a popular host and speaker at after-dinner events across the country. She is known for her canny impersonations of female celebrities, her character comedy creations and her mischievous stories and observations on life.

She has produced four solo shows for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Keara is also a professional actor and has appeared in Taggart, the BBC1 sketch show Velvet Soup, and films. She began performing stand-up in 1998.

Patrice, ‘Hairdresser to the Stars’, needs no introduction, having wowed the women on two previous occasions. Also known as the ‘Cock o’ the North’, he has become one of the top after-dinner speakers in Scotland.

Against his mother’s advice he gave up a lucrative hairdressing career some 10 years ago to make his name in public. Since then he has toured the country with his unmistakable brand of camp humour. As well as his comedy talent Patrice is an accomplished singer and violinist.

Tickets, £35 (frozen for six years), are now on sale. To book any table sizes contact Roy or 07908 763219, or by contacting the club via their Facebook page.
