20130131- Montrose Athletics Sponsorship. Arbroath based Nick Whelan and Company Solicitors have sponsored Montrose and District Athletics Club to the tune of �2,000. Nick Whelan, of Arbroath Solicitors Whelan & Co, has presented presented Montrose and District Athletics Club with team jackets to protect the athletes from the elements and also supplied a variety of different equipment to help the Club with its training activities.

The equipment will hopefully allow last year’s Junior Internationalists to make the step up to Senior level but will also allow new and developing athletes to undertake training that could not be provided over the winter months.

Head coach Colin Christie thanked Mr Whelan for his generous support.
