THE MONTROSE 10K race was held on Sunday, in conditions which suited most runners.

The runners left the Academy sports field and made their way along the flat course via the aerodrome to the cycle path to Kinnaber, returning via the beach.

The race was won by Ronald Gaul, Aberdeenshire, in a time of 34 minutes, 55 seconds. Leading lady, in 10th place, was Tracy Paterson, Arbroath Footers, 42:44.
