Micros (P1, 2 & 3): Player of the Year – Sandy Neville, Most Improved – Andrew Neill, Fair Play – Connor Jenkins and Best Newcomer – Shaun Logue.

P4/5: Player of the Year – Kyle Beedie, Most Improved – Matthew McKenzie, Fair Play – Angus Campbell and Best Newcomer – Jack Davey.

P6/7: Player of the Year – Stewart Watson, Most Improved – Kyle Clark, Fair Play – Ewan Campbell and Best Newcomer – Thomas Magalon.

To top off the day, The SRU brought up the Calcutta Cup from Murrayfield for everyone to view.

Philippe Magalon, Minis Coach and Club Committee Member, commented: "It has been a great year with children from 13 local primary schools enjoying rugby in Montrose. As well as developing rugby skills, the focus has been on fitness, coordination and teamwork. We have a very polite and keen group of children who have been a joy to coach this year."

Mini Rugby training for next season will start after the summer holidays on Sunday 24th August. All boys and girls of primary school age would be most welcome. To find out more, please contact Duncan Campbell on 01674 830763 or montroseminis@tiscali.co.uk.
