Scott Pirie, Montrose Bowling Club, was Champion of Champions at the Angus Bowling Association's Championship Finals held at Montrose Bowling Club at the week-end. MONTROSE Bowling Club played host last Thursday and Friday to the Angus County Championship finals, sponsored by Specsavers.

The Champion of Champions was Scott Pirie from the host club, who defeated Robert Christie, Parkview, 21-11.

Other results were as follows.

Singles - Andy Furye, Carnoustie WE 21, Vince Stewart, Craigie 19.

Pairs - Chris Stewart and Craig McInally, Fairfield 20, Colin Craigie and John Watson, Muirhead 14.

Triples - Angus Walker, Alex Millar and Neil McIntosh, Forfar 20, Angus Cossans, Alastair Murray and Scott Brown, Craigie 9.
