Montrose sailing club will hold a coffee morning in Old and Saint Andrew’s church hall on Saturday (February 15).
The area around the club’s slipway was damaged during the westerly gales and high tides in December and it is hoped that the proceeds of the coffee morning can be put towards the reinstatement/ maintenance work involved prior to starting the 2014 sailing season in April.
Additionally, there will be a raffle, bottle stall, bric-a-brac and home baking stalls in the hall on the day.
Club members will be there all morning and will be more than happy to offer advice regarding starting sailing or joining the club.
The club held a coffee morning this time last year which was a resounding success and we hope that this year’s one will be as well attended.
