River City star to play in AM-AM

An addition has been made to the impressive list of attractions at the Corporate Charity AM-AM tournament at Montrose Links on June 21.

Paul Samson, a star of the BBC Scotland soap ‘River City’, will be taking part.

Organiser Ishbel Weir said: “I am delighted to announce that Paul Samson, who plays ‘lovable rogue’ Raymond Henderson in ‘River City’ is playing in one of the teams from Fife.

“Paul, originally from St Andrews, is one of the most long-standing characters in River City and it’s great that he has been able to find time in his busy schedule to come along to play in the AM-AM.

“Having the support of such a central character from a prime time Scottish soap is a fantastic boost to the day.”

Last year’s event raised more than £13,000 for the Multiple Sclerosis Therapy (Tayside) Ltd centre, which operates the pioneer chamber at Peddie Street, Dundee.
