MONTROSE swimmers from Arbroath St Thomas had a successful time at the Scottish Nationals Age Group Championships.
Nathan Watt (15) swam personal best times in both the 100m and 200m butterfly to make the finals in these events. He also went under the minute for the first time in the 100m freestyle.
Erin Cranston, swimming in the girls’ 15 years age group, and who had just returned from a school trip, managed to swim close to her best times in both the 100 and 200m breaststroke events.
St Thomas swimmers also travelled to the Bridge of Don April Showers meet in Aberdeen.
Competing for the first time in St Thomas colours, Ross Duncan, swimming in the eight-year-old boys, picked up gold medals in the backstroke and butterfly events along with a bronze in his freestyle race.
