Brechin Vics travelled to Dundee in their last fixture before the festive break.
The Brechin side made a bright start and a good Lewis run almost presented Black with an opportunity but the cross was fractionally too high.
Vics were holding the upper hand and looked the more likely to score.
It was almost 15 minutes before East Craigie created any kind of chance for themselves, but Robbie easily saved a shot from 18 yards.
Vics were hit by a sucker punch on 16 minutes when GEEKIE shot into the corner of the net when Vics failed to clear a corner kick.
East Craigie had a spell of pressure for the next 15 minutess but the Vics defence held firm.
Vics gradually got back into the game and came agonisingly close to getting an equaliser when Black had a shot from 18 yards come crashing back off the crossbar with the Craigie keeper beaten.

The second half started evenly with both sides looking to attack.
Robbie was brought into action to make a great save from a long range effort.
And Robbie was again the man of the moment two minutes later, tipping a shot over the crossbar.
Vics were continuing to use the wide areas and were having success down the right flank but crosses into the box were failing to find their intended targets.
Lewis was presented with a chance but took too long to get his shot away and his effort was blocked.
The match began to get untidy with East Craigie using every tactic to disrupt the flow of the game.
Vics were beginning to look dangerous and were rewarded on 73 minutes when DICKSON scored with an overhead kick from 16 yards after a King corner.
Vics were now looking to push for the winner and but were almost caught out on the break when a shot from Mann hit the post.
East Craigie got what proved to be the winner on 86 minutes when a long ball sent Mann in the clear and he duly dispatched past Robbie in the Vics goal.

Vics were disappointed not to come away without at least a point especially after getting themselves back on level terms.
