Modelling competition marks milestone

THE FRIENDS of William Lamb Studio’s annual children’s modelling competition reached a milestone at the weekend by marking its 30th year.

Local primary and junior secondary pupils are challenged to produce their own clay sculpture over the course of a morning, and this year’s winner was St Margaret’s Primary pupil Scott Hadden.

The competition was held in the Queen Street Scout hall on Saturday where judge Mary Annie Burn had the difficult task of choosing the winning entries.

The full results were: Group 1 - 1 Katie May Ramshaw (Ferryden PS), 2 Katie Annandale (Rosemount PS), 3 Catriona Taylor (Rosemount PS); Group 2 - 1 Scott Hadden (St Margaret’s PS), 2 Katie Hillard (Borrowfield PS), 3 Emily Ritchie (Lochside PS); Group 3 - 1 Zarah Frost (Ferryden PS), 2 Danielle Stephen (Rosemount PS), 3 Sarah Moronska (St Margaret’s PS).
